Ostfildern, Bremen – The ASTRACON family is growing again this year – we warmly welcome two new trainees! Mr. Sinan Turan is starting his training as a specialist in freight forwarding and logistics services (Kaufmann für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung) at the Ostfildern site, while Mr. Jarek Polep has begun this training in Bremen. We are pleased to welcome these two talented young recruits and to accompany them on their professional journey.

We welcome Sinan Turan to Ostfildern and wish him all the best at the start of his training.

At ASTRACON’s Ostfildern site, high-performing apprentices have the opportunity to complete their training with the additional qualification of “logistics assistant (Logistikassistent/in)”. At the sea freight site in Bremen, we offer particularly committed apprentices the chance to gain the “European Businessman (Europakaufmann)” qualification alongside their training. Both additional qualifications end with an exam at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and, in addition to special theoretical subjects, also include an internship abroad with one of our international partners lasting several weeks. This is ASTRACON’s response to growing international demands and an ideal way to prepare the next generation for the challenges of the market.

Our apprentices Ms. Marie Großmann and Mr. Paul Förster, who started their training in 2023, are enthusiastic about the new opportunities. They are particularly looking forward to the intercultural experiences they will gain during their internships abroad.

In addition, we offer all our apprentices the opportunity of a one-week exchange between ASTRACON locations. This exchange gives them practical insights into air and sea freight and ensures that they receive even more comprehensive training.
